Lone Star Longhorns was established in Santa Fe, Texas, in 1999 by David and Lynda Bradley who were looking to purchase some calves as pets.   A non-Longhorn neighbor told Lynda if she wanted a pet, she should get a dog.  Needless to say, that didn't sit too well and within a couple of weeks, we were the proud owners of our first three registered Texas Longhorn heifers.

Initially, we were interested in only owning the three heifers but quickly became hooked on Longhorns after showing at our first Longhorn Show sponsored by the Texas Longhorn Breeders Gulf Coast Association (TLBGCA) and Dow.  We have thoroughly enjoyed the people we have met at various Longhorn events as well as the magnificent breed.

We enjoy supporting the Texas Longhorn Breeders of Tomorrow and have donated to the NASA Longhorn Project, Alief Longhorn Project and many students who have shown an interest in becoming future Longhorn advocates by furthering their knowledge of the breed, displayed discipline, patience, responsibility, and the desire to set and reach goals.

In 2010, our operation was moved to Centerville, Texas, and we continue to support our youth.  Cattle are for sale at all times.  We welcome you to browse our website and schedule a visit to our ranch.  For more information, please contact us.
